Puppy Program

Our Puppy Program walks puppies through the basics of the grooming process at their pace. Puppies come in weekly for 4 visits and we gradually acclimate them to bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, clipping paw pads, sanitary trims and scissoring around the eyes. Typically by the 4th visit they’re confident enough to handle a whole haircut!

All puppies receive a warm bath, fluff dry, brush out and nail trim with each visit. We work with the puppies on filing those sharp little puppy nails, trimming the fluff in between their eyes, trimming the hair on the bottom of their feet and a sanitary trim. With these things we go at their pace so they can gain confidence with being in the salon and being handled. Sometimes if your puppy is extra shy or very confident and great at advocating for themselves they might need a couple extra weeks in the program to be comfortable with what we’re doing.

The end goal is a confident and happy pup that is comfortable with whole salon experience! After your puppy graduates we recommend maintaining a 4 week schedule for the rest of the year.

All puppies receive:

First time I've ever been to a dog groomer and this could not have been a better experience. They were very friendly and really took good care of my dog. It's a small local place so it wasn't packed with people and animals, which is good for folks who may have dogs who are a bit reactive with other dogs. Good service at a great price, I definitely recommend this place.
